Writers Questions

  1. Which projects are displayed in the "Open Project" section?
    +
    • Bids received from customers.
    • Outgoing bids.
    • Bids generated as a result of accepting a price request.
    • Projects pending payment from the customer. The writer can start fulfilling an order only after the payment has been received.
  2. Which projects are displayed in the “In Progress” section?
    +

    Projects acquire the status “In Progress” after being paid for by the customer. This is where the tasks that are currently being fulfilled by the writer are displayed.

  3. Which projects are displayed in the “Pending Approval” section?

    In this section you can find projects that are waiting for approval by the customer. If the work does not meet the customer's requirements, it can be returned to the writer for the revision up to three times.

  4. Which projects are displayed in the “Completed” section?

    Approved and accepted projects acquire the status “Completed”.

  5. What should I do once I have registered?
    +

    The most important part after registration is setting your price list. Please, indicate the services you work with and the prices you are ready to write for. We would ask you to fill out your profile information, take our writing test and download the samples of your work in order to make the best impression on the customer. It is also advisable to verify your contact information for better communication purposes.

  6. Is it obligatory to take the writing test?

    It is not obligatory, although we highly recommend that you take the writing test. If you pass the test, clients will be able to see your score (if you permit it) and it will serve as the basis for their decision to work with you or not.

  7. Why should I set the prices?
    +

    By giving you an opportunity to set your own prices, we provide all our writers with equitable conditions. The daily limit on price changes prevents the price dropping on specific orders. This process ensures that every writer can take the orders which he/she can do better than others for a particular price.

  8. How often can I change my price list?

    You are able to change your price list once every 24 hours.

  9. How to take an order?
    +

    You can either receive bids from customers or search for available offers using the Advanced search.

    To view the whole list of jobs, you can also check the “Available jobs” section.

    After finding the project(s) you would like to take, you can send a bid and it will be added to your “Open Projects” section.

    If the customer accepts your offer, you will receive a notification about it.

     

    Note: You will be able to start working on the task only after the customer has paid for it. Once the payment is made, the project will move to the “In Progress” section.

    Should you not meet the requirements of the project, you will see following notification:

    To take the project, you will be offered a chance to edit your profile by adding matching prices for the corresponding type of writing. 

    Note: To prevent price dropping on specific orders (since this constitutes unfair competition which is not based on writing skills and experience), a writer can change the prices once every 24 hours.

  10. How will I know whether my bid has been accepted?

    If the customer approves your bid, you will receive an inbox notification.

     

    Note: You will be able to start working on the task only after the customer has paid for it. When the payment is complete, the project will move to the “In Progress” section.

  11. What to do if I receive a bid?
    +

    Once you receive a bid, you can check to see what the client is offering you and accept or cancel the proposal. At the same time, you will be able to see other bids and send outgoing offers to the cusomer.

    If you apply the bid, it will acquire the status “Pending”.

     If ther customer choses you as a writer for the project, you will receive a notification about it and the bid will acquire the status "Accepted".

    Note: You can start working on the project only after the customer has paid for it. When the payment is received, the project will move to the “In Progress” section.

  12. When can I start working on a project?

    You can start working on the task only after the customer has paid for it. When the payment is completed, the project will move to the “In Progress” section and you will be able to start working on it.

  13. What is a price request?
    +

    A price request is a project offer sent by the customer to the writer with a proposal to do a particular project for a lower or recommended price.

    The customer may send a price request to the writer(s) whom he/she thinks is suitable for the task, but who doesn't have a matching type of writing/price/urgency in the price list, or the price listed is too high.

    By submitting a price request, the writer automatically changes the current price or adds the offered type of writing, price and urgency to his/her price list.

  14. How does the price request work?

    Customer may send you a price request if he/she thinks you are a suitable writer for his/her project and qualified in the needed sphere, but you:

    • didn't include the matching type of service onto your price list or

    • the price listed is too high

    Therefore a price request can include an offer:

    • to include the corresponding type of writing with a particular price onto the price list or

    • to accept the offered price by replacing the current one

     

    Note: By doing this, you automatically make changes to your price list and accept the offer.

    Note: You are able to change your price list only once every 24 hours.

    Note: If you accept the offer, the customer is required to pay for it first. Once the payment is completed, the status of the project will progress to the “In progress” section and you will be able to start working on it.

  15. What to do if I receive a price request?

    Once you have received a price request in your notification folder, check what customer is offering you.

    If you would like to take the project, click on “Add to price list”. By doing this, you automatically replace the already existing price. If you didn't include the particular type of writing or the corresponding price, it will be added to your price list.

    Afterwards the project will appear in your “Open Project” section.

     

    Note: You are able to change your price list only once every 24 hours.

    Note: If you accept the offer, the customer is required to pay for it first. Once the payment is completed, the status of the project will progress to “In progress” section and you will be able to start working on it.

  16. How do I receive my payment?

    In your profile settings you can choose the payment method. The minimum payment release level is $50. You can receive your earnings monthly or contact our support team if you would prefer to set up a different frequency.

  17. Would I be able to check my work for plagiarism?
    +

    Absolutely. Our plagiarism detector is absolutely free, reliable and accurate.

  18. How to submit a finished project?
    +

    Once you are certain that you want to submit your final document, you may click on "Upload final file". If you upload a draft, the project won't proceed to the "Pending Approval" section.

  19. How will I know whether the customer has approved my work?

    If the customer approves your work, it will progress to the “Completed” section, you will receive a correspondent notification and your earnings will be transferred to your account.
